The selection of judges to our federal and circuit courts will influence every person’s rights and freedoms, and could determine the future of our nation’s most pressing issues. Join us on September 7th for a panel discussion to learn about the importance of the courts and our state’s role in the future of nominations. The panel will feature Dmitry Bam, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Maine Law, Zach Heiden, Legal Director at the ACLU of Maine, Keith Thirion, Director of Outreach at Alliance for Justice and Lindsay Morris, Associate Director of Washington Operations, National Council of Jewish Women. A pre-reception will be held on the Law School Green Space at 6pm.
This event is free and open to the public. 1 hour of Maine CLE credit will be offered. Register at bit.ly/CourtsMatterPanel
