FAQs

How do I have my lost loved one’s photo added to FED UP!’s “Lost Loved One’s Video”?
By making a donation of any amount or by becoming a Supporting Partner you may have your lost loved one added to FED UP!’s “Lost Loved One’s Video.” If you have not previously provided a photo for the video, please send a high-resolution photo and the following information to arovero@feduprally.org by no later than July 15th to be included in the updated video:

Your lost loved one’s name
Date of Birth
Date of Death
Age
Statement: “I give my permission for the Fed Up Steering Committee members to use the photo I have provided in their ‘Lost Loved Ones’ memorial video and for any other educational purpose.”

I would like FED UP! to memorialize a LOST LOVED ONE, how do I make this happen?
Too many of us have lost loved ones to the disease of addiction and the opioid epidemic. By selecting “Make a Donation” you will be asked a few short questions about the person you would like to memorialize. With your donation, we will add your lost loved one to the “in memory of” section on our website and include their name in our Lost Loved Ones Memorial banner and video.

I would like FED UP! to honor someone who is in RECOVERY, how do I make this happen?
By selecting “Make a Donation” you will be asked a few short questions about the person you are honoring. With your contribution, we will add the person you are honoring to the “in honor of” section on our website.

What is the difference between donations made “in memory of” and those made “in honor of”?
Donations made in memory of someone are made to memorialize a loved one lost to the opioid epidemic. Those made in honor of someone are made to recognize someone in RECOVERY or someone who is suffering from the disease of addiction.

What is a 2017 Supporting Partner?
A 2017 Supporting Partner of the FED UP! Coalition is a partner organization that has made a donation in 2017 of $100 or more. These organizations can choose to have a link to their websites placed on the Partners page of the FED UP! Coalition website. Supporting Partners may also choose to have their donations made in memory of a LOST LOVED ONE or in honor of someone in RECOVERY. Individuals are encouraged to make these donations on behalf of their organizations.

Are my donations tax-deductible?
Donations are collected by our fiscal sponsor, the Steve Rummler Hope Network, a 501(c)(3) public charity, and are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. All donations go to support the work of the FED UP! Coalition to End the Opioid Epidemic
