February Program – from the Marshall Islands to NWArk
Please join the WCDW as we welcome Noda Lojkar.
Noda Lojkar will speak on the current state of the Marshalleese community here in Northwest Arkansas. Noda was born in Ebey, Kwajalein Atoll and has worked in strategic roles around the world to represent the people of the Marshall Islands.
We will also highlight the word done in the 2017 Arkansas Legislative session to ensure Marshallese children are covered by ARKIDS.
The meeting is free and open to the public. Optional buffet dinner is available for $16.00 and includes entree, salad, vegetable, dessert, and drink.
Meeting location is Mermaids in Fayetteville- 2217 N College Ave.
