Stand Up For Your State Forests: A Mass Gathering at the Statehouse

Since 2002 there has been a 400% increase in commercial logging in Indiana’s state forests.

If you believe that our state forests should be protected from excessive commercial logging, this is your chance to speak up!

Take the day off (it’s President’s Day!), gather a crew, bring a sign, and show up to help send an unmistakable message to lawmakers.

Rousing remarks by economist Morton Marcus and a wide variety of forest activists

Music by Tim Grimm, The Hammer and the Hatchet, and Cari Ray

Park free at the Indiana Interchurch Center and take a free shuttle to the State House. Or, park free at the Indiana History Center (450 W. Ohio) and walk to the State House.
