Social capital is a key factor to improving the lives and economic mobility of students.

Hosted by Communities in Schools Charlotte-Mecklenburg, keynote speakers include Wes Moore, CEO, Robinhood Foundation and Dr. Kent Packel, President and CEO of the Search Institute. Special guests include Richard Reeves, The Brookings Institute, James E. Ford, Educator and Leading on Opportunity Co-Chair and Dr. Stephanie Cooper-Lewter, Leading on Opportunity Executive Director. Learn more about the importance of social capital and developmental relationships with students. The event is sponsored by the Foundation for the Carolinas and Ablemare Foundation.
