Healthy Homes for Healthy Kids

OHHN’s 2017 Fall Forum will explore the latest approaches to improve children’s health through control of home-based health hazards.

The Forum features presentations from national, state and local leaders and experts on topics in the healthy homes field with a special focus on lead hazards, reflecting recent activity in Ohio at the local and state level to protect children from lead exposure and poisoning. Speakers will also address home-based asthma interventions, resources for healthy homes, weatherization and local collaborations.

Anyone interested in children’s health and housing is welcome to attend including parents, housing providers and managers, public health officials, advocates, weatherization and rehab professionals, asthma specialists, environmental specialists and community members.
