Here in Pittsburgh, we will join ordinary citizens around the country to march for government transparency on Saturday April 15th, Tax Day, and to call on President Donald Trump to fulfill his campaign promise to release his tax returns.
You can help by coming to march, inviting your friends, sharing this event, or by funding the march through our GoFundMe page
The permit has been approved for us to march. We will be gathering at the City-County Building on Grant St, to start the march as 10 am. We will march Grant to 5th, down 5th to Market St, and into Market Square, where we will rally. The route is approximately 0.5 miles. Come get your steps in!
1) Pressure President Trump to release the last 10 years of tax returns
2) Rally for greater overall government transparency, support right to know laws
3) Highlight existing sources of government transparency
4) Promote voter registration and the May municipal elections
Details are still coming together and this is coordinated with the national march. If you would like to be on the planning committee or to volunteer (yes, we need you!) please message the Tax March Pgh.
