Shepherdstown: Women’s Shelter Coat Drive

Women’s March West Virginia Shepherdstown and Charles Town Huddles are sponsoring a warm clothing drive for a local Women’s Shelter.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Local Residents are invited to contribute new and/or gently worn coats and cold weather apparel, such as gloves, scarves or hats. All sizes of women and children warm clothing is needed!

Come drop in or hang out with us for a while: Chat, enjoy some great food, company and write some post cards to our representatives.

“Now is not a moment for silence; it’s a time for action.” Rep. Seth Moulton

We can use our voices and address gun control, Puerto Rico, or any other issue you would like. Postcards and Stamps will be provided.

NOTE: We cannot take any clothing after 5 PM. If you can not make it and would like to donate, please contact us and we will be happy to make arrangements for you to drop items off with us, or for us to pick them up.
