Shelby, Show Up for Science!

The #KudzuCoalitionofWestAlabama believes that science should not be ignored to fit political agendas. “Shelby, Stand up for Science” is a rally that provides a voice for people concerned about the future of science under the current administration. The rally will have several speakers, who will speak for 5-10 minutes each. There will also be tables set up with information about local organizations and how people can get involved.

Check here for more information about this Kudzu Coalition of West Alabama event. The basic plan is to rally at Monnish Park, noon-1pm Friday April 21st, calling on Senator Shelby to Stand Up (and Show Up) for Science. For those so inclined and with time, we will meet at Shelby Hall on UA’s campus at 11:15 to walk together to Monnish Park. According to Google, it’s a 24-minute walk. #ShowUpShelby
