By now you know there “is no line” for immigrants to receive citizenship in the U.S., but do you know how it all works? Immigration law is an incredibly complicated field, even for the most informed community members, so come together in an interactive and practical workshop to learn the ins and outs of our legal system. We’ll cover the three main pathways to citizenship for those who qualify, temporary forms of relief such as DACA and TPS, and take a deeper look at humanitarian visas for survivors of abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. No matter your level of experience you’re sure to walk away with practical knowledge to inform yourself, your families, and your communities.
