March for Science Bemidji

March will start at 11am at Bangsberg Hall at BSU with speakers and a Slam Poet. Make you signs at home or come early, since there will be materials available to make signs! The March will proceed to Library Park for music and Jingle Dress Dancers will dance for healing. We will then march back to the American Indian Resource Center at BSU for a Science Festival. Activities will include speakers, local poets and others, activities for kids and more!

All lovers of science are welcome. Come and mingle, learn about what the Bemidji and surrounding areas are doing to advance the practical use of science in our lives.

National March for Science Mission Statement:
The March for Science champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.
