Join the Mississippi Humanities Council, Rethink Mississippi, and Mississippi Youth Media Project at Hal and Mal’s-Jackson, MS on August 22 for a conversation on the future of public education in Mississippi. We’ll discuss issues like education funding, charter schools, school choice, and much more. The panel will include Mississippi First Deputy Director Sanford Johnson, Murrah High School teacher Olivia Coté, Murrah High School student Maisie Brown, state representative Joel Bomgar, and The Parents’ Campaign Executive Director Nancy Loome. MHC Executive Director Dr. Stuart Rockoff will moderate.
