Confronting Sexual & Domestic Violence: A Reading Group

The aim of this monthly reading group is to prevent interpersonal violence (IPV) by providing holistic political education. We use a Black feminist perspective to explore community-based interventions to IPV that do not rely on the police or governmental institutions.

At our next meeting we will watch the “Weapons of History” section of the film “NO! The Rape Documentary 10th Anniversary Edition.” We will also complete Chapter 2 of its study guide. To download a free copy of the study guide click the following link: https://goo.gl/LfzAl2
