Rally Against New York City Voter Suppression

Let us come together for the right to vote. Fifteen thousand people of color in Lefrak City Queens are being disenfranchised by the Board of Elections. The Board moved their longstanding on-site polling location a mile away right before a hotly contested City Council primary election on September 12 without any community input or public hearings. This is our opportunity to stand up for every New Yorker’s right to vote.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”

–Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
