The landmark gerrymandering case, Gill v. Whitford, is currently being decided by the Supreme Court of the United States. We will discuss and update attendees about this case, explain what gerrymandering is, tell the story of how our maps were rigged and explain what we must do together to change this!

Gerrymandered voting maps negatively impact our democratic voice in our government and, therefore, impact our ability to influence elected officials on a number of issues that all Wisconsinites care about, including having enough good family-supporting jobs for everyone, adequate funding for our public schools, clean drinking water, good roads and infrastructure and more. In order to expand opportunity in our communities we must work together to have fair maps – one person, one vote – for all. We hope you and friends will join us!
