Join planning phone call for People’s Climate Movement Event

It’s been just two weeks since Donald Trump became President, and every day it has gotten clearer that not only do we need to resist his attacks on our communities right now, we also need to build something to sustain this fight for the long haul.

A cornerstone of that fight has to be lifting up a vision that inspires us and gives us hope — a vision of a future the protects our climate, our communities, and our families.

On Monday night, the People’s Climate Movement is hosting a call for everyone who’s interested in building that vision.

Join us Monday, February 6th at 8pm Eastern, 5pm Pacific to discuss how we can build an arc of resistance that culminates in mass action on April 29th. Click here to register.

What: People’s Climate Movement Organizing Call
When: Monday, February 6th, 8pm EST/5pm PST
Where: Anywhere you are. Click here to register.

On the call we’ll lay out the arc of resistance we have planned for the next 100 days, talk about the ways that people can get involved building the movement locally, and discuss the plan to join together for mass mobilizations around the country on April 29th, the 100th day of the Trump Administration.

Together, in 2014 we built the largest climate march in history by encouraging people to bring their own stories of climate change to New York City — by recognizing that it takes everyone to change everything. Now, with everything at stake, everyone has a role to play, whether you’ve been marching and organizing for decades or you’re coming out for the first time.

If you can’t make the call, or are looking for things to do right now, there are a couple of key ways you can help:

RSVP on Facebook and invite your friends — the resistance to Trump’s presidency has been huge and a lot of that momentum has been sparked on Facebook. We want to make this thing as big as possible, so help us let the world know it’s happening.
Email your friends and family — you can turn your RSVP for April 29th into 5 or 10 or 20 more by sending the People’s Climate Movement website to a few more people who care about protecting our climate, our communities, and our families.
Support the People’s Climate Movement by chipping in $5 — every dollar you contribute will be put directly into making this march as powerful as it can be. We’ve been doing a lot with a little so far and need your help to take this movement to the next level.
We’re less than 3 months away. Let’s do this.

Thank you for standing with us,
