Green Can’t Wait! Four Mile Run & Negley Run Convening!
Join the Clean Rivers Campaign at Green Can’t Wait Part 2!
Last year residents of Four Mile Run came together to learn about the plans for investment in green infrastructure in their watershed and then organized to win funding in the Mayor’s capital budget for the design of the project.
Now, the Clean Rivers Campaign is hosting a Four Mile Run reconvening on February 27th at 6:30 PM at Sixth Presbyterian Church to celebrate winning design funding and to learn what the next steps are for advocates of Four Mile Run!
We will also have guest presenters and residents from the neighboring Negley Run watershed come talk about plans to invest in green solutions that can help stop the dangerous flooding on Washington Blvd and reduce sewage overflow into the rivers.
Both of these projects need funding. The Clean Rivers Campaign believes that when residents of different watersheds work together to fight for large scale green investment, we can all win the fight for a green first approach to our region’s stormwater issues. Join us on the 27th and be a part of it!
