Bill Foster’s DACA Roundtable
Congressman Bill Foster is hosting a community discussion on President Trump’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
This event will feature a roundtable discussion where we will hear from DACA recipients about their experiences. We will also discuss the importance of Congressional action to pass the Dream Act to protect these young people from deportation.
This event is also an opportunity for us to come together to discuss the important contributions that DREAMers have made to our community and our country. Ending DACA would have a devastating impact on the lives of the nearly 800,000 hardworking young people who’ve benefitted from this program and who contribute greatly to our country.
