Ckysurj film screening: A Class Divided
We’ll be viewing and discussing A Class Divided, the 1985 documentary about Jane Elliot’s classroom experiment. The day after Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed, this school teacher in a small town in Iowa decided to treat children with blue eyes as superior to children with brown eyes. FRONTLINE explores what those children learned about discrimination and how it still affects them as adults.

All floors are accessible by stairs or elevator. The building meets Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and handicap accessible parking is available in the attached parking garage. There are restrooms on the lower level and 4th floor. Visitors can get 2 hours of free parking by validating their ticket at the front desk on the first floor of the library. Children are welcome at this meeting. This film has English subtitles.
