Stranded By Cuomo Flash Mob

Only 117 out of 472 NYC subway stations are fully accessible. The Parkchester, Bronx station was renovated in 2010 to the tune of $89 million, the entrance is at ground level and even has an autogate for passengers with wheelchairs, but there are still NO ELEVATORS to get to the train. It’s inhumane.

We are staging a “roll-in” with a broad range of constituents – people with disabilities, moms with strollers, able-bodied people with luggage, etc. – to draw attention to the no elevators fail at this station.

People will arrive at both the elevated station and the entrance below. Please join us!
