Eyewitness Holocaust Testimonies
Join us to hear from Kitty Williams, the final Holocaust survivor in a four-part series to hear the eyewitness accounts and learn from the experiences of survivors of the Holocaust during World War II.
The permutations of Kitty Williams’ story make it singular: hiding to escape capture; accepting the kindness of neighbors; falling for a wounded German airman; finding and nursing her sister at Auschwitz; being chosen for a life-saving detail of women laborers. After liberation, Kitty married an American airman and came to live with him in Council Bluffs.
This series is presented in collaboration with the Institute for Holocaust Education. Meeting these individuals is a rare opportunity you won’t want to miss!
