March on Google Counter Protest & Rally

UPDATE 8/16: The alt-right March on Google organizers have backed down and cancelled their march. We will still march *peacefully* for peace and justice because the fight doesn’t end until everyone in our communities is safe from racism and sexism. SEE YOU SATURDAY!

In the shadow of the tragedy in Charlottesville, members of the alt-right here in Washington are organizing their own hateful rally. On Saturday, August 19, WA Women for Trump and other alt-right groups are participating in the Kirkland March on Google in support of sexism in the workplace.

We must take a stand to show that the Eastside resists Trump’s hateful agenda. Hate has no home here! From Woodinville and Renton to North Bend and here in Kirkland, Eastsiders know that our diversity is what makes us strong. Trump’s hateful agenda is not normal. We will show up for what’s right, time and time again. We fight for liberty and justice for all, not just at the national level but here at home.

Please join us for this *peaceful* event to show that the Eastside stands united against hate!

We will meet at the Everest Park parking lot at 12:30pm and march to the sidewalk in front of the Google Headquarters. Please bring water and snacks for yourself, as well as banners or posters you’d like to carry. Please contact Fuse Senior Political Organizer Morgan Steele with any more questions.
