KC March For Science After Party/Earth Day Fundraiser

KC is going to need a beer after “Marching for Science” on Earth Day. Bier Station and four breweries are joining with March For Science – Kansas City for an after-party/ environmental fundraiser Saturday, April 22, in the Bier Station Parking lot (think: our massive, Planned Parenthood Great Plains event).

Cinder Block Brewery, Torn Label Brewing Company Uinta Brewing and New Belgium Brewing are joining the party by taking over the Station’s tap wall, and each brewery is donating a large keg to a different, green cause. Plus, John from Bier Station will buy an additional, large keg from each brewery totaling EIGHT kegs helping an array of national and local causes:

CINDER BLOCK: to benefit Bridging The Gap, which has a long history of being a major force in educating Kansas Citians about the environment and establishing recycling and other sound behaviors in the region.

TORN LABEL: to benefit KC STEM Alliance, a collaborative network of educators, business partners and organizations that inspires interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math careers to generate a robust workforce of professionals for our community.

UINTA: to benefit the National Park Service, because they need us, now more than ever.

NEW BELGIUM: to benefit The Nature Conservancy, a leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters.

The party will be held 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. in the Bier Station parking lot. It is free and open to the public, including families. Attendance will be capped at parking lot capacity.

Come join us for a beer (or two) for lots of great causes!
