2018 Mama Summit in Harrisburg
To help our elected officials hear and see what families in Pennsylvania care about, we are hosting a “Mama Summit” at the Harrisburg Capitol on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Join us to visit state legislators and attend a press conference to advocate for children’s health and clean air.
Our focus of the day will be to encourage bipartisan discussion on air pollution protections for our children, a vulnerable population. We are looking for Pennsylvanians, like you, to meet with their legislators regarding plans to address the air pollution problem that is impacting so many of our children, including pollution from oil and gas operations throughout the state.
The Mama Summit brings voices from across the state to advocate for children’s health and clean air. The day will consist of legislative visits, a press conference, and lunch. Children are encouraged and always welcome. For those of you who are new to the Mama Summit, we will have leaders for each group that will help guide legislative visits and help with talking points.
We hope you can take time out of your schedule to attend – the need for meeting with our State Officials has never been more important!
