Sanctuary Cities: On-the-Ground Impact

Join the LBJ Future Forum on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, for a conversation on sanctuary cities from the diverse perspectives of those who witness the on-the-ground impact.

Confirmed participants include:
– Louis Barrios, veteran San Antonio restaurateur
– Jesús Garza, former CEO of Seton Healthcare and former Austin city manager
– Dr. Stan Paz, executive director of the Texas Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents
– Lupe Valdez, Dallas County Sheriff and Democratic candidate for governor
– Julián Aguilar, immigration reporter for the Texas Tribune, will serve as moderator for the discussion.

Doors open at 6 p.m. The discussion will go from 6:30-7:30 p.m. A cocktail reception will follow the panel, and attendees are encouraged to continue the conversation over drinks and light bites.

The LBJ Presidential Library is located at 2313 Red River St. Free parking is available in the library’s visitor lot #38. Parking entrance located on Red River Street.
